After “the drum” last night Judy and I watched a program about the increase in bushland birds in NSW. Two of the species said to be increasing were Brown Tree creeper and Rufus Whistler. Whilst an increase in a native animal population is good, I would have thought these species were relatively common.
However, at the same time the ABC science on line has covered a problem with Bushland birds in Victoria. See the link
