Eastern Yellow Robins in the Heathland of Braeside Park

We have been Mistnetting at Braeside for around 17 years and in that time we have caught 104 Eastern Yellow Robins and re caught a further 58. Figure 1 shows the average number of new Eastern Yellow Robins we catch each session, (blue) and the red line is the average number of birds caught again, (retraps).

Mist netting results 20th February 2011

Rob working hard, thinking?

A fairly average day mist netting on Sunday. Of the ten birds caught, there were only two species. Results as follows:

6 Superb Fairy Wren

4 White-browed Scrub Wren, one of which was a retrap, (first caught 3 months ago)
